Sturge Weber Use Case

STAGE at 3T for a child with Sturge Weber Syndrome

STAGE has been utilized to image Sturge Weber in the same way that SWI can be used. In these patients, it is critical to differentiate regions of bleeding versus those that are calcified.

  • Differentiation of Calcium and Iron
  • Vascular Abnormalities

The STAGE protocol can visualize the extent of Sturge Weber without the use of a contrast agent or exposing the patient to CT.
